Reiki Training & Certification

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality used for many holistic supports, including encouraging an environment within the body where balance, harmony, and healing can take place. The Reiki energy system exists within each of us. Becoming attuned (initiated) in Reiki is an elevation of the system already within you, while also providing a clear and grounded energetic container to work from.

Reiki Level I is a foundational course and is open to anyone who feels called to learn. The first degree enables you to treat yourself, others, plants, animals, and the world around you through the laying on of hands. You do not need to intend on treating others to take this course. Reiki is a gift you are welcome to keep close to your heart if you wish. This is something you carry with you for life.

What to expect

Groups are intentionally kept intimate (2-4 people) to allow space for questions, sharing, and individual support where needed.

Each day is supported with a nourishing spread of food, thoughtfully offered to suit a range of dietary needs. This may include fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, meats, cheeses, crackers, dips, baked goods, and a few sweet treats.

Herbal teas and kombucha will be available throughout the day.

While food is provided, you’re welcome to bring anything additional that feels supportive for you. Basic kitchen facilities, including a microwave, are available if needed.

I move at a pace that ensures the information is well understood, with the intention that everyone leaves feeling confident, informed, and supported as they step into their Reiki practice.

Reiki Level I

Embarking on the second degree is not about mastering the first level, but about deepening your relationship with the modality, with yourself, and with how you perceive and work with energy in and around you.

Over two days, we further enhance your Reiki system through attunement and explore the foundations and nuances of distance Reiki for yourself, others, and situations.

You will receive three Japanese Reiki symbols, learn how to draw them, and explore the energetics and purpose of each one. We’ll work with how these symbols integrate with your hands-on first degree practices and how to apply them to send Reiki beyond time and space.

Distance Reiki is potent, yet treatments are shorter typically around 20–30 minutes for self and others, and approximately 10 minutes for situations. This can make Reiki more accessible and easier to integrate into daily life.

This class is a blend of conversation, guided meditation, creative exploration (including art), practice, and attunement.

Reiki Level II Prerequisite:
Must be attuned to the first degree for a minimum of 3 months

Reiki Mastership is an individual pathway, not a group experience. It unfolds in its own time and is entered when your relationship with Reiki has reached a point of readiness and embodiment.

In this lineage, the Master attunement is received one-on-one, in a setting chosen by you a space where you feel safe, grounded, and supported. This is held in person.

Throughout the day you are fully supported, including fresh, nourishing food to allow you to stay present, grounded, and cared for throughout the process.

The attunement itself marks the beginning of a twelve-month integration and cleansing period, during which the energy continues to settle, refine, and deepen.

This stages focus is not on learning more, but on allowing the final initiation to anchor what has already been cultivated. Mastership is shaped by your lived relationship with the energy, the quality of your presence, and your capacity to meet Reiki with trust and responsibility.

Mentoring & Preparation

Preparation for the Master attunement includes individual mentoring sessions, with a minimum of one and a maximum of three sessions, depending on your background and previous training.

Some students require only a single session, while others may benefit from additional support to revisit certain areas, strengthen their practice, or bridge differences between lineages. These sessions allow space to explore how you work with Reiki and to ensure you feel clear, steady, and prepared before receiving the attunement.

Mentoring sessions may be held in person or online via zoom, and are paced according to your needs.
